Design the COP

COYO
Just a quick reminder that our ‘Design The COP’ challenge is still open and we’ve created a special page for all registrants on DEC School with loads of helpful resources.

Entries are starting to roll in before the deadline of 30th September, which gives you plenty of time to complete if you haven’t done so already. It really is very straightforward and a great project for teams of all age groups.

It’s a chance to put your school in the spotlight given that the COP26 event is in Scotland this year (see https://ukcop26.org) and there are lots of industry folks wanting to help, so you’ll not be alone…a great chance to get your Adopter involved too. They’ll be thrilled to share your limelight!

We have very high-profile judges this year, all of whom have great expertise in a range of fields. These include:

  • Stephen Hodder MBE, Architect and RIBA Sterling Prize winner, past RIBA president and Chair of the Construction Industry Council also leading on Climate Change
  • Chris Stark, Chief Executive of the Committee on Climate Change, previously Director of Energy and Climate Change for the Scottish Government
  • Malcolm Chrisp, Civil Engineer and Head of the School of Energy, Geoscience, Infrastructure and Society (EGIS) at Heriot-Watt University

Don’t miss this great opportunity to get your students involved in the biggest conversation on the planet this Autumn!

Register here: https://designengineerconstruct.com/designthecop/ and visit the VIP Room in DEC School if you’ve already done so!

We look forward to seeing your entry!
